Bridget Dillon

(she/her) MA LMHCA ATR-P

I am originally from Austin, Texas, and moved to Washington to attend graduate school in 2020. My journey into art therapy and counseling was driven by a collision of my passion for psychology and art. Yet, what truly solidified my path was witnessing firsthand the healing power of expression through art at various moments in my own life.

I love reading thriller novels, playing Animal Crossing, sleeping in, and creating art. I get a lot of joy out of eating ice cream, having a cup of coffee or tea, and rewatching the same movies or shows on a never-ending loop. I am queer, neurodivergent, and biracial.

Education & Professional Experience

I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Antioch University. I have undergone supplementary trainings for trauma-informed care and will continue to do so for the entirety of my career.

Professional Values & Theoretical Orientation

Collaboration, empowerment, transparency, accessibility, and unconditional acceptance are foundational for my practice. I am trained as an art therapist and a talk counselor and use a blend of relational, polyvagal, narrative, feminist, and systemic approaches.
